I lived in pittsburgh for a couple years.
I don't think I ever saw one single 951.

Cars can't live >10 years there unless they are garage queens.

Your best bet would be to hang out at Beaver Run during a PCA event

I live there, just south of the city. However, she's off the road for a few months to save $ on insurance. Like MWC said, I'll be at BeaveRun this summer

I'm around, but mine is a TurboS, so it'll feel pretty different than your 87. In any case, I'm around. Feel free to PM me, but it isn't coming out in the snow. If the roads are dry I'll be happy to meet you and go for a spin.

I will be done with my car in about three weeks(k27 install), my car has lots of mods but you will get the idea and want one. My garage for the Porsche's and race car is in Coriopolis, your welcome to stop by anytime.

I live about 30 miles south of the city. Mines away till spring though but when its out I'd be glad to give ya a ride. Hey Kurt, how do you drop your car from insurance all winter long? I thought you weren't allowed to do that without giving up your plates? What insurance company are you with? And CBRE, are you a Porsche mechanic with your own garage , or by "garage" did you just mean where you store them at for the winter? I'm looking for a good mechanic, any suggestions around the area? Thanks

Porsche mechanic? I wish! Just as a hobby. Biggest job I can tackle is a turbo swap, exhaust stuff, susp and electrical, I wouldn't want to tackle a cylinder head job or clutch, I will leave that up to the pro's at C&G Performance. Just about anything Mitsubishi, Jeep or Mopar(old muscle) is not a problem though. Damn 951 is addicting though, I now have over 10k in receipts for the thing in just over a year, but it should be a nice street car when it's done!

C&G has been great, Champ, the owner has been around P-cars forever, his son Allen is a great wrench and driver, and Pete, probably the best in the area, he has worked on my 951 almost since new(with the previous owner also). If there is something I can't tackle the only guys I trust with the car is them(in this area). I heard of John but never have dealt with him, never heard anything bad from Manage My Car.
