Great lap, that's eastern creek in Aus, nice line into turn 2. I think the lap time looks to be around 1.49, my race MX5 does the same times around there, now I am even happier about my 951 purchase.

Wow...that was so long ago. Seems like a dream it's so vague. For all the naivete I do miss those simpler days.

I go back sometimes and look at both me on track and my son in the early early days and it's crazy how slow we were.
You watch the old ones today and you're like "get on the d@mned gas already".....

I now remember one or both of the front struts were allowed to shift completely out of their camber settings due to a failure of an adj 'U' bolt which meant I couldn't get anywhere near some of the apexes that day unless I lifted off the pedal. Still, any day on the track back then was fun.

Just to get a 944 in Australia is a stupid amount of money. $60k minimum for a stock one. maybe find a kitted out one for 40-50k with a cage ect and some mods.
Im not sure what's left on Patricks one but i know he's parted some of it out.
I hope he gets back into it, puts a motor in it and what ever else it needs and drive it again.
