Default Turbonetics Replica Turbine Housings

As per the title - I know Turbonetics ran out a few years back - did they ever make any more?

The Precision ones are not bolt on replicas - I have not seen the Tial version before - do you have a link?

Are you looking for one for a K26? I may have misunderstood. The Tial one is for Garrett or Xona turbos. I don't know if they list a part number, but if you ask tech support they have them.

I have seen the Tial V band ones but the post was meant to be about KKK (Turbonetics) replica housings for true bolt on hybrids. I probably should have been clearer in the title!

The Tial one is not a Vband - it is a K26 flange, 0.63AR for Garrett centre sections.

The Precision one is also K26/4 bolt, but a 0.82 / 10cm, combined with a journal bearing centre, is a bolt on unit. You have to clearance the mount/ throttle, but I put a 5862 on a 3L 8v this year with stock oil feed, return, downpipe, crossover, etc.

Do you have any photos of the work you did to make it fit you could email? Do you know who sells the Tial version?

ATP Turbo sells the K24/K26 turbine housing (both .63 and .82 a/r) for a variety of GT/GTX series turbos.

I don't, but pretty much exactly this (taken from Broadfoots site). No spacers, adapters, etc.

Thanks - very useful. Do you happen to know who sells the K26 bolt on Tial housings I cannot find them online? I assume the Precision ones only come attached to a Precision turbo.....

I only know from talking to Mike at Tial last week. Email their tech support email, and they should be able to tell you. On the Precisions, you are correct. The old stuff doesn't have the best rep, but I think the newer stuff is ok. No issues with the 3L from this year and 10000km already.

Just checked with Tial (Mike) and the bolt on K26 housings they used to do were for the GT/ GTX housings not for T series. So its a used Turbonetics number 10 or a full Precision turbo and a modified mount.

How are you finding the 6262 - thats a pretty big compressor wheel for a 3.0 8v - have you dynoed it? How does it drive?

The #10 is pretty reasonable on the 3L. Everything is there by 3500. Its pretty responsive in transient conditions. It feels a lot like a stock 951, but it currently 350whp/tq@1bar. It could really use a cam to suit the displacement, I think that would be worth 20whp at 1 bar. The turbo is a 5862, so roughly GT3576 equivalent.
