Your 2014 configuration was with 6 speed though as per the video you posted, right..?
6 speed for 944T in no longer legal.
SP3 5a -"The 968 six speed transmission may only be used with a 968 motor at 968 weight."
Other people were doing at the same era so it still doesn't diminish your lap but the point of the thread is whether 944T is competitive in SP3....today.

You are not correct.
I always had 5 speed .
6speed was illegal in anything bedside 968.
There was a green turbo that I protest after finding out he has 6 speed.

Hah hah, are you serious...?
The original post of the thread with concern, and reason that PCA is looking for a solution, was that 944T is disappearing by being converted over to NA engined cars.
You pop in to make a claim to the opposite....., followed by stating that you converted your own car to NA....
Irony state = severe.
Cool deal though, saw that you had some participation in other models, good to see you hanging in there with the SP3.
Pretty far north for us to get up around your stomping grounds but maybe we see you around somewhere,

This is what I dont understand, what is the whole Idea behind the "Rule Change"? If I have to buy more stuff to make my car go "No Faster" then I think Its time to consider NA stuff, The Turbos are not setting the world on fire at this point and I think that making Turbo Guys spend more money for stuff they dont need will not make the car count for turbos any higher. If the Idea is to make the turbos more competitive then let us shed some weight. There is nothing worse to a car guy like myself and Im sure MANY other's on this website than having to spend time taking stuff apart, Re-doing something...spend money and at the end of the day NO FASTER, No Improvement... Im Positive that ANYBODY who does their own work always improves things..The Classic "WHILE IM AT IT" Justification...... I Had a Headgasket issue with my Duramax... I took it apart, Ditched ALL the emissions stuff, put ARP studs in, Race Manifolds now up pipes, Pyrometer Boost gauge, ECT. Now I can hold my foot into it pulling a hill with my trailer and my EGT's dont go through the roof.... The point is that for effort, there must be benefit..

To tell you the truth, racing in general doesn't get much attention in this forum, so I wouldn't weigh much on number of replies.
That said, in personal experience, even though we run across a few at a big race like Sebring, the main ones I know of are GT cars and wouldn't be affected.
