Has anyone ever had a bearing go out on a power steering pump? im hoping that is what it is, but tomorrow I will take the belt off and try and pinpoint the noise some more. it sounds like a bolt rubbing against a pulley. I ran without the pump for a while because my power steering pump pulley was horribly bent. just did a water pump front seal job and replaced that pulley, it was fine for a couple days and on way home heard horrible racket sounded like brakes down to metal but coming from front of engine.
