Best for Oil Leakage Reduction = Repair Gaskets

Best Oil = Synthetic (Mobil 1, etc.) holds up better to the higher temperatures in a turbo motor.

Why? I've been running it on track since break-in on my rebuilt engine.

Dude, once and for all...no oil choice is going to get rid of your leaks. It will mask them temporarily, but you will still be leaking. Get it fixed.

I am not going to spend any more money on this car, I'm just going to put cheaper dino oil in and check it more often...period

Can I give you a bit of advice. A lot of cars (generally garage queens) have their oil changed so often it causes problems. If you just keep putting oil in due to the leak you will get the same problems.
Namely a porous block due to acidity levels rinsing.
Most modern oils even Dino oils have detergents to clean galleries and break down carbon deposits. These detergents break down with the carbons in between normal oil change periods. However if oil is changed too regularly the detergents are never neutralised and you end up with a buld up of acidity which can cause a porous block. The same can happen if you have a bad oil leak and just keep topping up. If the cost of fitting an oil pan gasket is too great, what would be the effect of oil starvation and a shot engine?
I know this seems harsh but the same responce seems to be coming from all directions. These are old cars now and need substantial maintenance. Prevention is always better than cure!

Sludge is good if you have a leak as long as it's in the right place!

both of those valvolines are very good. we use both and have not had any sludge build up. i would never use mobil 1 with a lower viscosity. we have seen too many of the older cars **** themselves on such oils.

I call dips on the lower rear spoiler when you are parting the car after the engine blows.
