Car arrived safe and sound on Friday. I was glad to have taken the day off even though the driver told me he would arrive on Saturday.

Had a chance to wash it (so this is a wet picture):

The car is in pretty good shape overall. I’ve not been under it but from what I can tell of the wheel wells it is very clean (dirty but no rust). Engine appears 100% unmolested. Everything looks there like it’s never been disturbed.

I did get it started but only ran it for a few seconds. It leaks oil something fierce, and I don’t trust the old timing belt on there.

Lots of little things that need fixed. I think I’ll start a laundry list!

Default After almost a year!

OK so the plan was to finish a few projects and then get the Porsche in the garage for the winter and start work.
A small project on my Dad's Saab turned into a big one:

and then helping a friend with her Civic:

So this has precluded any work on the Porsche! I still have a couple of things to button up on my daily driver, but I decided if I did not get it in the garage nothing would ever happen! So I pushed it in there and put it on jackstands (so it won't be easy to push out)!
