Default Whats this noise

Just had installed Spec Stage 2+ clutch w/machined stock flywheel. I've put 600+ miles of break-in driving(careful). From the time I picked the vehicle I have a fair amount of drivetrain noise, it's a tinny sounding resonance( sort of like the sound of rattling heat shield) during deceleration most pronounced when slowing off throttle especially in 3rd and 2nd gear. You can hear it in 4th and 5th but it's not as noticeable. Seems to be coming from the transaxle? There also is a very slight vibration felt when accelerating up thru the gears. If I depress clutch or go to neutral with clutch out, noise/vibration completely go away. Any Thoughts? BTW 87 944 Turbo non LSD with 82K

If a stage II clutch includes a disk that is of the 930 type then the springs in the clutch just rattle like crazy under deceleration. It sounds scary but don't worry about it. It's just the springs that are semi unloaded and rattle quite a bit.

Thanks

Thanks, I hope that's all it is. It didn't make any noise/vibration with stock clutch

Thanks again,

When you say this is normal, have you had/heard of this same issue?

By machined do you mean lightened? I have a spec push clutch which has a lightened flywheel. I noticed a lot of gear rattle on deceleration around 2500 rpm.

Not lightened, just machined true. I have the same rattle while decelerating especially noticeable at slow speeds as when around town 1-3.
