Dual port waste gate installation
I just had a LR dual port waste gate/MBC installed by my mechanic. He has the banjo bolt line connected as stock along with the second metal line coming from under the intake manifold connected as stock. I know this can't be the correct installation. The car actually runs fine but will only boost to 7 psi no matter where i set the MBC. I see on LR website on installation deleting the cycling valve line to the old waste gate.1. Do you simply use the old banjo bolt to seal the intercooler pipe? I also see you delete second metal line coming from under the intake manifold and plugging the hose that's attached to it. 2. what vacuum line gets attached to the top of the dual port? The old stock one? Please advise
