This thing is a pain of splices under the dash. Splices into relay wires, the box under the steering column, a wire running towards the center console, and one into the engine that's been cutoff. It's just a blank black box with 2 bigger connectors near. Can I just cut all the wires at the splices and pull it out? Should I remove the inline splicers and tape it if they look ok or try to solder the connections. Soldering looks hard - very short, tight wires and not very accessible. Or just leave it alone.

I had to replace the clutch master, so it's nice and clean.
I pulled the spicers off and most just bit one spot in the wire I taped over. The relay one, they stripped an inch and cut half the wires, so I cut and soldered that one. Otherwise it's all out now.

The alarm I pulled out of my car had an ignition disconnect so I had to splice wires back together at the key switch. FYI it was a viper alarm . it was plain as day where they interrupted the wire.
