Default Turbo Cup sway bars value?

Hi guys,

The turbo cup had a 30mm front and 21mm adjustable sway bar which is unique for the TC and its so hard to find something about these.
Only intel on RL is many years ago I think around 2010 that someone wrote about them last.
Price was during beginning of the millennium era around 550$ for the rear 21mm sway but are since many years unobtanium.
But what would these fetch in todays market?

Thanks!

30mm front bar is the same part number as the 968 M030 front bar.

The rear 21mm bars have been gone for some time. Hard to say what market value is, as so few come up for sale. And hard to say what someone is willing to pay for one, as there are other bar options that can be setup for equal performance.

Allowing for 2.5% escalation/year - $550 in 2009 would be ~$650 in 2018 dollars.

YMMV

So does that mean everyone should have had a 2.5% raise in pay every year? Because that doesn't seem to be the case. Wish it were. However the poor are raising and the rich are getting richer and the dwindling middle class get the shaft.

These (atleast rear) are super rare Porsche motorsport parts and when it comes to the 944 platform as cool as it gets.
For anyone with a Cup car that is missing this or anyone with a replica build it is worth alot. Just too be able to get a Cup car back too factory spec is a big task since very few are nowdays. Cup parts are almost impossible too find but with this its one step closer.

I was happy too find one when I restored my Cup car otherwise I would be happy too buy them from you Peter. I will check with my Cup contacts for interest.

They were still available new late last year and the price iirc was around $350 for the rear. I went for a better quality aftermarket with the same effective rate instead. Used I’m guessing its worth maybe $200.

Edit:

Did a quick search at Sunset Porsche and here it is still available: 944 Turbo Cup 21mm Rear Sway Bar

I'm definitely interested if it's for sale.

Sadly the Sunset link says it's no longer available from them on the link above.

I emailed Sunset yesterday if they really had the part or just a ghost part number but didn’t get a reply so far.
But maybe the actually took it away from their system.

Porsche Sweden can’t even find it in PET and Motorsports couldn’t find it either.
Guess its the same in the rest of Europe.
