Default Seat Belt Harness Mounting help

I was able to get a hold of a nice 5 point seat belt harness and was wondering how and where to mount it. I don't have any roll bars but I do have a straight bar with mounting tabs on the ends that came with the harness.

If you are using a 5 pt harness, do you have a race seat in the car that has the openings for the sub-belt and lap belts? If not, I recommend waiting until you have the proper setup.

Never use stock seats with anything other than 3 point stock belts. Danger zone.

Not sure what your goal is but it anything other then not moving is dangerous.

Without guides through the seat the shoulder straps will just come right off your shoulders and you'll go through the windshield.

Stock seat has no guide in the bottom of the seat for number 5.

Other then that with longer seatbelt bolts you can mount 2 points along with your OEM seatbelt and two mounting points between the pillars of the backseat.

Unless you have the minimum of a roll bar, do not get the 5, 6, or 7 pt seat belts. As already mentioned the seat has to be compatible with the harness that means holes in the shoulder area and one for the sub belt(s). The shoulder belts also have a restriction where they should be no more than 10 degrees from horizontal (this is so you do not place undue stress on your back in the event of a wreck). The shoulder belts will need keepers to prevent the belts from moving around on the bar.

This conversion should not be taken lightly as if it is not done correctly it can cause serious injury.
