Default Leather Seat needs new cover

I have Burgundy leather standard seats, 1988 Turbo S. Any recommendation for recovering the seat, in leather?

I had my burgundy seats recovered in full leather at Patrick Motorsports here in Phoenix and they looks great. They used "kits" that I'm sure most shops can obtain. I was skeptical with using kits but the results speak for themselves. So you should be able to find a reputable shop in your area to do the same.

Hi Michael7810, do you have pics of the newly-recovered seats?

I have burgundy also on a car, and was wondering about color match. A few burgundy recovers I've seen are a bit.. off in color.

Thanks

What do you want to spend? Classic9 is good http://www.classic9leathershop.com

Or on the cheaper side https://www.lseat.com/products/1986-...ers-front.html
Lseat will send you free sample.

The leather that Lseat uses is vastly inferior, it was so thin that it wore through within a year. They also do not stock accurate Porsche colors. Rob at Classic9 does a great job.

Hard to get the light correct but you can see the seat color matches the steering wheel and shifter boot.

Micheal, did you have leather seats originally or where they vinyl and you recovered in leather?

I only ask as I see you don’t have the leather dash or center console and I thought they were a package.

Yes leather on the seat faces only, seat backs and back seats were vinyl. The new covers are leather front and back. I've spoken with previous owners dating back to 1991 and the seats had not been recovered prior to my ownership.

That makes sense now, your car came with the 1/2 leather package option and you made the seats full leather

Hi Luis,
Are those grey beige LQ seats above? I've been waiting for you to do a set.
Please let me know if they are.
Thanks!

Anyone has a piece of original burgundy leather? I'll have original leather reconditioned but need to replace the driver's left side bolster piece of leather.
