Default Hvac vacuum question/blue check valve

So, I was installing my MBC. And I mounted my control **** by the blue check valve. Anyway, I pretty much broke a bunch of the hvac old rubber connectors. So I am in the process of putting them back together with fresh rubber. Anyway. I think I got it all routed correctly. Except the blue check valve. I know it comes FROM the vacuum reservoir and according to all the vacuum diagrams I’ve looked at, it goes TO the brake booster. But on my car, there is NO input to anywhere on or the large hose to the brake booster from the manifold. Could I just attach it somewhere to the intake manifold like the other ones? Or am I missing something? Thanks guys.

There should be a plastic tee with a reducer on one side that goes in the middle of the large hose from the brake booster. Off that tee on a small vacuum line is where the check valve is supposed to be located.

I know. I don’t see one. There is no tap at all. Think I could tap into manifold instead? On the banjo bolt with all the other ones?

When I did my hoses I skipped the t in the brake booster line and plumbed it off the banjo, no problem.

cool. I think that’s what the PO did also. Because the brake booster line doesn’t look stock. 👍🏼

You don’t want your MBC in the engine compartment. The heat will ruin it.

hmmm. I thought that it was for in or out of bay?? Don’t a lot of people have theirs inside the bay? Or is it a different brand?

My car came without cruise control so I mounted mine here. Works perfectly and prevents you from playing with it too much.

It will fail in due time mounted there. I know because that’s where I had mine mounted.

that is on the exhaust side...but I see your point. I might throw Dave L a email and see what temp these are rated for. Forge has a in engine controller for about $30. Might be worth getting one of those.
