Turbo Rebuilder Recommendation
My seals are shot on my stock K26/8, oil seems to be everywhere. I have read good things about Evergreen but nothing that recent. I also saw that Lindsey sends it out to someone. Is there a consensus on who's the most reliable and cost effective?
Also, does anyone have experience with Evergreen's Billet wheel?

I highly recommend Charlie Brown from Evergreen!

I like Evergreens work. I was having a similar issue with my stock turbo ( low boost, oil blow by) and picked up an allegedly Charlie rebuilt 26-8 to drop in my 86 and have been impressed.. so that is what boost should feel like!
If you are interested in a performance bump, there are some guys in Atlanta that are machining the case interiors and fitting new profile impellers and turbines. Stock exterior, stock bolt up, but more modern behavior. Look up Emanuel Galason on facebook, if interested.

I have been asking him questions via FB and I have decided to go with Evergreen. I'm doing the full rebuild and the Billet wheel upgrade. I'll report back once I get it installed in a couple of weeks from now.
Thanks for the information everyone

Good choice. Charlie at Evergreen is so great to deal with. He just built me a beautiful K26/6 with lots of trick mods. I haven't run it yet but I am sure it will be great.
Big Thumbs up for Charlie!!

So my wheel looks like the attached picture and he says that I should check my ports and crossover for missing ceramic bits.
I have searched but haven't seen anything about how to check these areas out and what to look for. What's the best way to do those check?
