The Pinion gears on the AOS and 5P/5R/AOR transaxles are pretty much the same size. Both have 9 teeth.

Right I must be high? They all have 9 teeth! Even the 924 pinion has 9 teeth! That's not my point, the size of the teeth and diameter of the pinion gear itself is what I'm referring to.

I took some pictures and dimensions of the 951 (right in the pictures) and S2 (left in the pictures) pinion gears and I stand corrected.
951 Pinion Gear:
- Root to tip - 12.40mm
- Tooth root width - 10.00mm
- Tooth face width - 3.00mm
- Rear outside diameter - 72.50mm
- Front outside diameter - 58.00mm
S2 Pinion Gear:
- Root to tip - 10.40mm
- Tooth root width- 8.40mm
- Tooth face width- 3.30mm
- Rear outside diameter - 66.75mm
- Front outside diameter - 48.50mm
951 Pinion Gear:
- Root to tip - 12.40mm
- Tooth root width - 10.00mm
- Tooth face width - 3.00mm
- Rear outside diameter - 72.50mm

The difference is related to the ratio on S2 vs Turbo.
