Another Rod Bearing journal clearance question
I purchased a used crankshaft from an 87 N/A witch I plan to use for my 951 2.5 engine rebuild.
After I measure it I found some problems at #4 rod bearing. It measures 51.965 measured N-S and E-W measures 59.970 the minimum diameter specified by the manual it's 51.971. This journal also has a taper of 0.004 barell shaped.
Does anyone installed a crank in similar shape with positive results?
I also have an S2 3L crank (with all journals looking good and within the specs) but I don't know if I can find any rods 9mm shorter than stock and if it will work with my pistons.( I also purchased the pistons 100.50 mahle PowerPak)
