Default Crossover welded nut thread size?

Can anyone confirm what size bolt and thread will work with the welded nut on the back of the crossover pipe flange? Have the turbo in place and don’t want to work backwards. It’s an 86 turbo. Thanks for the help!

M6 or M8. Just measure the width of the bolts thread. it's either going to be 6mm or 8mm.

Come on, the metric system isn't that difficult

My whole Turbo + exhaust is v-band. Except the wastegate is still a TiAL38mm with a 2 bolt flange with no adaptors.
But it's now an art from to get the exhaust on the car. We machined lips on the v-bands to make them line up better, but unfortunately didn't make the lips big enough, so there's sliding around, but they'll lock when perfectly aligned. I've never had an exhaust leak since going v-band though, and the exhaust has been off at least 10 times.

Unfortunately, not any more. Had photos on my build thread but since photobucket decided to make everyone pay for 3rd party photo hosting, They're all gone.

My bolts were all heated and destroyed. It probably took me 4 hours to get those off by myself. Forgot to measure them before pitching them. I will try m8 13 mm first. Thanks for the help

M8 was far too small. Will try m10 next
