Default Long drive on crisp clear day...

Took the car out for a long drive today. These things really like the crisp cool air -- feels like adding 2psi of boost I'd say. At the risk of jinxing myself, it's been running great without any "issues" for quite a while now. Getting close to 30k miles on the 3 liter motor too and still seems strong, thanks in part to the newer stage 5 Vitesse turbo. Newer cars offer their own brand of fun, speed and refinement, but man are these fun cars to drive when they're all sorted.

Agreed! Need pictures!

My car is in getting poly bushings on all four corners and sways. I also had two leaks that were causing the boost to max out at 1 bar. Can't wait to have the car back on Friday and enjoy the cool air!

I don't drive my car in the wet after the roads have been salted/gritted over here, but the strongest it runs are the cold dry winter days, when all the investment cars are in hibernation.

You should try -35C with no snow yet and dry roads. I was able to do that in November 2011 in my 3.0L

Wow, bet that added quite a bit of power! Was it way more powerful?

Felt very quick but tires were breaking loose in 3rd when I got on the throttle hard. Tires didn't like the cold very much.

My Son and I went out today in both cars. Just a great day and spent the time with my boy. Best memories I could have asked for. I hope he holds them in his heart too.
