Exhaust headers broken/cracked
 

Started to put headers back on engine but then noticed middle section cyl 2 and 3 flanges at the cyl head move relative to the exit flange (that goes to the crossover pipe)
Is this some clever bit of design to allow for expansion or are both parts of the header broken? Shields are intact so I cant see if welds are OK
Should the header seal when it is not assembled ? If it is filled with water should it seal?

It is likely broken internally, have seen it before. I may have a good Header laying around i bought assuming mine was broken, and it was good.

It's broken. Check Lart's inventory if Mark doesn't have that header. You had some boost issues with that broken.

Time for an upgrade.

Upgrade to what ? Appear to be about 3-4 contenders

Current favourites ? Do they last as long as the Porsche headers. Cost of 2/3 section about 500 new
