Yes, I did buy the sound deadoning new. However, a lot of parts are not available anymore over here (Europe). Pelican Parts claims they still can deliver the parts I can't get over here.

Very nice! Just a FYI if you do go ls3 you will have to comeplety re- think the brakes, the valve cover hits the brake booster so you can't run boosted brakes unless you go hydro- boost. Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I am almost at the point where I have to make a decision concerning which engine.

You made a set of speaker adapters for the rest of us right? It's not nice to show if your not going to share with the rest of us. ALL OF US! To include me this time! Don't think I just made these potentially semi legal rennlist rules up. Even thou they only apply to you as of right now, and never ever to me.

Great work here - the first 944 I turned in to a track car was a white with burgundy interior.
I am starting to feel like the 'anti Frank' - for every restored or new part he is putting on his car I am cutting off and throwing away on the current track car project!

wiring harness.....removed with angle grinder!

Chris, (new) parts are becoming harder to get! You might be throwing out a fortune. I was lucky to score a brand new main wiring loom for € 1200,-- (appr. $ 1450,--). A local guy who did all the wiring for the Vencer car (http://vencer.nl/nl/) quotet me € 2000,-- for rebuilding my wiring loom reusing the most connectors (as they are almost impossible to get).

At least keep the connectors! ;-)
