Default Wheel spacers??

Has anyone put wheel spacers on the front of their car? I have just purchased two different brands of 15 mm. Neither will fit over the dust cap on the front hubs! Has anyone solved this problem? It's hard for me to believe that after 30 plus years no one makes a hub centric spacer that fits on the front of the 944/968. I have not tried H&R yet.

not a 944 owner (see my sig)

I bought a set 7mm's hub centric / w/lugs for my 996 (wider is better)
haven't deployed them yet as I'm running 8.5 + 10.5 wide wheels

you may need an offset guide to help, I know very little about 944 set-ups

try this

It's not a wheel fitment issue. The actual spacer will not seat fully on the hub due to the bearing dust cap. These spacers were said to fit 944 and 968; however, they do work on the rear. I've googled this and several people have had this issue but the only solution I saw was to have the spacer machined, which results in it being no longer hub centric. I'm trying to find out if someone actually makes one that fits right out of the box.

It's a 968. It is original. Non m030 car.
Posting in here because not getting answers elsewhere and I think the front hubs are similar or same.

I put front spacers on mine. Had to machine the inner lip of the hub centric ring. Only works if spacers are wide enough, mine were 25 mm. This is what they looked like. My thread on pelicanparts.

If you want to use 15 mm hubcentric spacers i think replacing the dust cover to something smaller is only route to go. I also tried cutting down the lip of the dust cover but it broke into two pieces.
