Hi,
New to the forums. Just bought an '86 944 NA. The sunroof isn't in too good of shape. The wind deflector is missing and the hardboard under the front edge is crumbling. I can order a deflector, but what is recommended to deal with the decaying hardboard?

The cardboard core interior panel I doubt can be repaired. Repairing it would be far more time consuming and frustrating that simply sourcing a used one. It should be maroon, black, or brown, all of which aren't too hard to find.
