Default ROW - Bosch DME

Hi experts!
A DME question please. Does any body know if and how the ROW DME will work on a US spec 944?

ROW - Rest of World, Non-USA vehicles (no catalytic converter, higher compression engine, etc).

I thought all of the engine computers were the same, changing the coding plugs on the engine harness determined if it was USA/ROW

There is a 2 prong plug on the DME harness. Porsche sells plugs that go into the plug to change to coding on the DME

No, the "coding plug" was just an AFR adjustment that on US models was hooked up to the barometric sensor to lean out AFR at high altitude.

Yeah that should be Plug and Play.

Usually ROW units do not have Oxygen Sensor capabilities and they tend to run a little faster also.
