Default Early 944 - Engine Dies when fans come on

Recently I had my fuel pump replaced by a shop due to not having time in my schedule to do it. After I got it back about two days later the car has started to stall after about 3 miles of driving. After I stop it, the car will usually start again if I crack the starter. If not I can shake the battery and that will usually fix the issue. I have narrowed it down to that the engine dies when the fans come on. Does anyone have any idea on what is causing this issue?

Thanks

The fact that if you shake the battery it can fix the issue does lead me to believe that there is something that is not being grounded well enough so when you move the battery, it somehow just makes enough contact to work.. for as time. DO you notice any issues with dim lighting or other symptoms of not getting +12v to instruments, lights or the radio???

Check and clean the wires and lugs at the battery terminal posts.
Rust and corrosion are not you friend.
