Default High-tone horn location - 944 with factory alarm

'86 944/2 N.A.

I searched the forums and elsewhere, PET catalog, shop manual and I can't find the answer to this one.

My low tone horn is out, but the high tone works. I jacked up, went under the front left bumper where the two horns are supposed to be, but only found one. It was the low tone and is rusted beyond belief. But, this is where both horns are supposed to be and there were two harnesses. My car has a factory alarm and the horn for that is behind the battery and is a pancake style horn. It seems to be carrying the high-tone horn. This seems to be totally undocumented in any of the official literature from Porsche and I can't find a description of this anywhere.

Why do I care, just replace the low tone, right? This car is my OCD outlet and if I replace one, I MUST replace the other. Can somebody confirm that 944/2 with factory alarms have just the low-tone horn behind the bumper but send the high-tone through the factory alarm horn behind the battery - PLEASE?
