Looking to buy a 944 but...
I have a potential opportunity to buy a great 83 944 at a great price.
i am slightly worried about parts availability down the road. I have heard that parts can be difficult to come by. Is it realy that big of an issue.
i dont plan on any racing or performance modifying, i just want a nice, decently reliable daily driver and i have always loved the way the 944 looked.
any advice in rhe area would be much appreciated.
thanks.

There are very few parts that are NLA and most are insignificant interior trim pieces.
All the engine parts, suspension parts etc (normal maintenance stuff) is readily available and much of it still in new production.
See pelicanparts.com, paragon-products.com, 944online.com, rennbay.com, zim's autotechnik, among others.

Yup, V2 nailed it. There are a good number of us on here that are running early 944s as daily drivers and loving it! Just make sure that you stay on top of the maintenance and you'll be set!
