89 944 headlights down but not up
new 89 owner. headlight function acting up very recently (since owned).
headlights will not open w/switch. when opened manually to full position (with switch in open position) the switch will close them.
headlights work (high and low/parking etc.)
fuses test good. relay shows proper resistance.
motor bad? switch?
interested if anyone has a similar problem and suggestion/advice for me.

I just had a headlight relay issue as well. The lights would not rise up when the switch was pressed, but when I turned it back off, they both popped up and winked briefly and the went back down. I pulled the relay, shook it a bit and put it back and it now works correctly. Hope the new relay arrives before this happens again!
