1 year ago i bought a 85.1 944 2.5 n/a i have been rebuilding top end but replacing evrything with new eg gaskets hoses and so on. once finished with new belts i started the car and it ran fine switched it of left it a while started again and it started but misfired. i checked the plugs and they were all covered in black all the same. so i re timed and strarted again and it ran fine again swiched it off then started straight back up with a missfire. turned it of again and it wont start now. it stinks of fuel whilst cranking. very lost now if any one could help guide me i would be very gratefull
