Default Normal #2 rod bearings wear?

I am changing the the bearings on a 89 s2 3.0l 16v and this was the wear on the cap side of the #2.

Supposedly this car had under 100k miles.

Left cap side right rod side
One is close and 4 furthest

Looks like 2 and 3 had the weird wear

Also are the rod bearings date coded? I have a date (I'm assuming of 6-95) and my new ones are 3-15

You should have your rods reconditioned by a competent machine shop. This should include checking twist, length, weights, and of course pin bushing wear. It's all part of a proper rebuild.

Yes, that is a date code on the bearings.

Some good info on bearings here:
