Water pump torque sequence
Hey all. My father and I have bought a 1984 na 944 that had a snapped timing belt. We got the head rebuilt and are currently replacing the water pump, unfortunately we are unable to find torque sequence for the water pump though...does anyone know what it is?

If it's not in Clarks garage, there probably isn't a specific sequence. Just speculating.

There isn't a torque sequence, probably because the bolts are only torqued to 6 lbft or so.
I like to do it in a sort of imagined "star pattern", like you would tighten lug nuts.

Close...FSM states 10 Nm [7.5 lb-ft].

Yeah I see every one says that it's 8-10 Nm so even with the 7.5 ftlbs I'll be fine. Do you know where to find the fsm. I would love to acquire one.
