Default Are Cabrio interio door panels different than standard S2/Turbo panels?

Question that I can't seem to find an answer for. Are 944 S2 cabriolet interior door panels interchangeable with those from a hardtop S2 and/or 944 turbo?

Hi zygo..

I believe the answer to your question is yes, however, if you want to be sure, lookup nickg. He seems to be the foremost cab authority around here.

not absolute, but they prob have diff part numbers. the cab has a 2 piece window, and the interior door panel has a slight cutout for it where the coupe has a solid side window. im assuming the coupe doesnt have this cutout, but i know for a fact the cab does.

Default Yes, but...

I believe the cutout culture speaks of is completely contained within the trim piece on the top of the door - the inside window scraper. I'll see if I can find a photo to show you.

Default Pet shows one door card for both models

http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf...91_KATALOG.pdf

Look at page 276. There is a different trim piece to accommodate the stationary window on the cab, but otherwise, the door card is the same between both the coupe and cab.

I've seen a close up photo within just the past few days showing the door and trim but can't locate it right now.

Found the picture: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1990-...exp=true#v4-48

iPad wouldn't let me copy it, but look at the 9th and 10th photos which show pretty good photos of the door tops.

i had a good look at my cab panel today. the above is correct, the cutout is in the inside window scraper (rubber trim)
