Need info on parts interchange
I have an '85.5 944 Porsche. I have access to an '87 944 turbo drivetrain. Complete front suspension, and from motor block to rear calipers. My car is reaching almost 100,000 miles, and the '87 has very low mileage. I am looking for any information as far as what parts are interchangeable in these 2 cars. (Calipers, rotors, clutch assembly, transaxle, and misc. parts) I have checked part numbers in repair manuals, and parts catalogs, and they show different numbers for these parts. But are they interchangeable? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, everything is interchangeable, but there are rules if you do not use ALL the parts... if you have the complete car, it'd be best to do the WHOLE thing. Also, get the preventative maintenance items done at the same time (oil cooler seals, belts, pump, seals, CVs, wheel bearings, maybe even a clutch)
Good Luck!
