Fuel Pump relay
Can anyone help me locate the separate fuel pump relay and in-line fuse on my '87 944. I have no power to the pump and cannot find either of the above to sort the problem.
Thanks
Andy

Not to be funny, but did you look in your owner's manual? I know that it points both out in mine...84 though so probably not the same as yours!...If you can't find it...let me know and I'll look in my shop manuals for you.

Don't have my workshop manual with me right now - hence the question!
Schematic wiring diagram on Pelican Parts site shows a separate fuse and relay, remote from main fuse board - that's what I'm trying to find.

Dear Andy,
According to the wiring diagram the fuse you are looking for is Number 34. Fuel Pump and O2 sensor, 15 amp. The DME rleay is G5. Fuse is in the fuse box. It is not an inline fuse.

Dear Andy,
I have said this many times in all my postings over time but I will say it again for the new members. www.alldata.com is a great place to subscribe to. If you own anything like a 944 you can get all the wiring diagrams and huge amounts of other information online. It costs a few dollars to subscribe but most of their stuff is excellent,

PS: I do not get discounts or favours from these people either. I happen to own a Haynes manual for the 944 and it is one of the worst manuals I have ever wasted my money on.

Thanks Adrian - I'll try it. I too have the Haynes manual for the 944 I have in the UK, and agree the content is very limited.
For the record I also run a 993 in the UK and (the current problem car) a 944 in the US.
