When going in reverse, my car sorta jumps. ALso, the exhaust has cracked At the downpipe, Right after the cat, and right where the pipe goes into the can. i am wondering if all the vibration could be coming from the motormounts,

If your engine vibrates at idle the motor mounts are probably toast. My ace mechanic friend and I changed the mounts on my 83. The old mounts were so worn that my engine actually sat over 1" higher with the new mounts!

when the car is off and i push in the clutch, the engine accually moves ...i think the mounts are horribly bad, and i think i just got used to the vibration
