Post 944S head rebuild--what to do while we're in there...?

Hi all,

I'm fairly certain the cam chain tensioner on my '87 944S has failed, as the car died and has no compression on engine spinover. I'm towing it to my mechanic tomorrow for an autopsy (anyone know how to proper attach a tow hook to the front of a 944? My owners manual has gone AWOL, argh) but I'm expecting that the head's coming off in any case.

What else should I consider having done when they're in there? And/or, what else should they be on the lookout for?

The car had all the typical service stuff (belts/rollers/tensioners, 951wp, t-stat/thermoswitch, all hoses, plugs/wires/cap/rotor, etc) within the last 10k. It has 121k on it currently.

Thanks much for any advice you might have!

Oh, never mind, just got back from my mechanic's shop...we took the cam cover off and the head is broken at the cam chain tensioner attachment point.

So, I guess the question for a new post is...

Anyone have a good used 944S/S2 head laying around?
