Default Coolant Line to Throttlebody

Listers,
The car is a 944s2: the issue is a fitting to a coolant line that goes to the throttle body has come out. I assume this is part of the cold weather preheating. How do I re-install this fitting?
Thanks

Bypass it completely. Use a short piece of tubing and a couple of hoseclamps.

I had the same issue on my '90 S2. The general concensus seems to be either ditch it (particularly for track cars) or repair with JB Weld. I did the JB Weld a couple of years ago and it's held up well. The function, according to George Buselink (944 Ecology owner), is to prevent throttle-body icing in cold weather...
