944S2 SE. Only 15 cars made
I was told some of these things by the fella who sold me the car and after a couple of years trying I finally tracked down a spec sheet from Porsche UK with the exact modifications they made to these cars. Not a great copy but its readable.
A couple of things suprised me, firstly that the power was increased over stock and that it was achieved with a chip replacement, Wonder whos chip they used?
Secondly was the 31mm front sway bar, I didnt know Porsche made a sway bar that big.

I read an article on this some time ago. The SE models were all sold by one dealer (to get rid of the last of the S2 stock). The modifications were not factory, they were done after delivery. I can't remember who actually tuned the chip, but it was done for the dealer - it wasn't an off the shelf item at the time.

It says "Engine output increased to 225bhp (+improved torque from 4,250 rpm)
As far as I know there were no other engine mods. Mine came with the full M030 package including the big black calipers and matching discs. It also has a LSD and oil cooler on the transmission, I've not heard of or seen another S2 with the trans cooler and I dont know if it was on there from new or a retrofit.
I've had it for about 2 years, it was an ebay bargain, paid £2800 for it, and have since spent about £1500 on rebuilding the rear Koni's, a full brake overhaul (New discs all round and reconditioned all 4 calipers) and a couple of rear bushes.

Sounds like a very Mild Chip Increase...
My 1990 S2 has a Weltmeister chip; it adds 22HP and 21FtLbsT to the stock numbers... My car also has a cat back exhaust system... My S2 came like yours with the M030 Suspension, Transmission Cooler and LSD options and has the same "Baby Blacks" 309mm Rotors that come on your car as they do on the 951, S2, and S4...
The "Big Blacks" are 322mm rotors and larger calipers found only on the GTS; these are however a direct bolt on upgrade to the stock M030/951/S2/S4 suspension/brake setup...
It sounds like a dealership installed parts to perk it up a lil bit... IF your car got the GTS brake upgrade and the chip right from the dealer your ahead of the game somewhat... The GTS brakes is on my list of to dos to the car for the future...
