Default My new Porsche 944

Here's my new 944 that I bought on Friday. It's a '83 non-turbo but is in very good condition. The best part is that it was only $600. It needed a clutch and tires so I put a clutch in it on Saturday and I'm just going to order some R compound tires and start going to the track again. 944s always had clutch issues with the rubber hub in the disc but what caused this one to fail was one of the flywheel bolts backed out and locked up the clutch breaking the rubber hub in half. Only 98k miles, no p/s, just about everything works, Recaro seats (very comfortable), Momo steering wheel, lowered, big sway bars, and cross drilled front rotors.

Dang! That's half what I paid for my '83 with 66,727 miles about 2 months ago. You got a steal. I bought a Sachs clutch kit from Phoenix Friction (http://www.phoenixfriction.net) for like $461 shipped.
