944 Gas Tank fix
My 1984 944 has two small holes in the bottomof the gas tank. Can they be fixed with some of the gas tank hole fixing compounds or should it be replaced?
If it is to be replaced, how do you remove it? Help, please!

the best bet would be replacing it. its not very safe fixing the wholes.
i'll hook you up with a online manual.
here it is:
http://www.clarks-garage.com/
go there, and search for fuel/gas tank, if those results don't suit you look in the garage shop manual.
hopes this helps! ^.^ good luck!

Three Wheelin'
I just swapped out the fuel tank for a fuel cell. I'll let you know if it's available, it's at a friends house, if he wants to keep it as a spare, he has first dibs.

I would get someone to weld in a metal plate over the holes, that's the cheapest and easiest way to do it, also after it's welded you won't have to worry about any sealant wearing out and the tank leaking
