engine rebuild
what parts would i need to do a total rebuild on my 944 engine? Runs GREAT but it still has 262k miles on it. Want to freshen her up

i want to make it like new, my neighbor said i need to get the pistons checked out and the shafts resmoothed out at the dealership.

I would run a compression check on all the cylinders. If the compression is even and good on all the cylinders I wouldn't bother rebuilding it.
