Just replaced a missing seal on the lefts side top frame. Looks simple...just slide it through the groove. Problem is it was a tight fit (good) so I had to go slow. Took about 40 minutes. Thanks to another boarder, Clint, I was able to get a used seal in good condition.

The seats are Konigsig K5000, got them in 1999, don't know if they make them any more but they are the OEM seats used for RUF so I suspect they are still available. They come in both Power and non power. The power seats were 2k so I opted for the non power seats at 1200 for both.

Hope this helps. You might be able to get these directly from RUF, as I used a dealer to get the discount for me from Konigsig.

awesome cabs folks. They have been growing on me more and more. My next front engine 4cyl Porsche may be an S2 or 68 Cab.

Someone mentioned getting a BK Lower Chassis Brace & Strut Bar. This Combo does a tremendous job at stiffening up the car (i've driven them with and without). If you plan on getting an aftermarket Header in the future or already have one, get a D1 lowerbrace instead. The BK Lower Brace does not have enough clearance for an aftermarket header.

Edit: The D1 brace is also cheaper and imo looks nicer.

Went to muffler shop to fix rattle that mechanic in Riverside, CA caused.
Muffler dude thought it may be the cat, we continued the search and found loose bolts and the cat was hitting a heat shield. he also repaired a small exhaust leak at the rear of the resonator.

Cabbie is nice and quiet now.. put a huge smile on my face as I drove her home... all for $30 bucks...

finally found a great muffler shop.. plus they're gonna build a tow hitch for me as soon as I find the parts I need.

Got a 91 s2 cab in December imported it into Canada from the US. 91k miles
Black/Black/Black

Things that had just been done 500 miles before I got it
Belts
Rollers
Distributor
Wires
Plugs
Water pump

have done the following so far:

Done by a local mechanic:
Several engine seals (Was leaking oil from several places leak free now)
Front motor mount
Cam chain and tensioner
Corrected some things done wrong by PO's mechanic
Changed all bulbs in dash

Things done by me:
Changed cruise control computer for one that works
Fixed power door locks
Unclogged washers and changed washer tank/motor
Replaced drivers side door panel that was messed up with perfect used one
Changed trunk seal
Reinstalled stereo so now sounds and works properly
Wired Fog lights to act a Daytime Running Lights (Required to register in Canada)

Left to do:
Correct airbag problem so that I can pass inspection
Try to fix power mirrors (Low priority)
Modify ashtray to act as Iphone holder (Already wired power and Aux cable for charging and listening to ipod)
Install sub in trunk (I have a 8" 100w bazooka that should work nicely in this car)
Detail the heck out of it inside and out
Wait for the snow to melt to drive it

I will think about upgrades next year just want to get it back to near perfect original condition before April.

Don't have pictures yet too much snow to pull the car out and shoot pictures. Will post some when I can.
