I installed the shorter front springs. I may need to play with the ride height a bit but I have a lot of room to work with.

I created a new album with a bunch of pics I took today. My car needs to be washed(obviously) and these are pics from my camera.

Here is the link to all of my albums.

I'm debating the idea of dropping the front another 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

Let me know if you(any of you) are going to be around the Phoenix area. It is a great place for 9 months of the year. In June, July, and August people from Phoenix visit hell just to enjoy the cooler weather.

you are right about there always being something with these cars, but the other alternative is to leave things alone…and who wants to do that?

I am curious though, what are you looking for with the coil overs? Looks or another just the infinite adjustability? are you going to add them to the rear too?

I have the H&R springs on mine and with the AIR road splitter, when i had the 17's i had very little clearance and i had to pay very close attention to road surfaces, speed bumps and driveways. the 18's have made it better, but i still get some scrapes. it looks like your splitter is lower than mine but i might be wrong.

I was looking for a combination of things. My car always rode a little high in the front with the factory springs so I wanted to lower the ride height. I also wanted to run slightly stiffer springs to pick up a little more front end grip. The stagger of the 996 turbo wheels (8 and 11") creates too much understeer so I want to do some things to make the handling a lot more even front to rear. The rears are fine so I will stick with the TBs.

The front splitter is a bit low but the roads in Arizona are pretty good so scraping is not a big issue for me.

lucky you re street pavement.

what size tires are you running? i know "look" is subjective, but with the 225/40's, I'm happy with the look i have.

then pics like this make me wonder

The 996 turbo wheels are 18's.

235/40 ZR 18 X 8 50et front
295/30 ZR 18 X 11 45et back

That car and yours are the reason I went with the euro front bumper cover. That car is why I am thinking of going just a little bit lower with my front ride height. I think yours looks perfect the way it is.

this car looks lower than mine w lower profile tires. it doesn't even have a front splitter and is very low. its a beautiful color and nicely set up.

az, did you upgrade the caster blocks yet?
