LP944

Everytime I go over railroads or bumps several times my rear hatch just pops open! And everytime I want to open it, I have to push the hatch to the right. Can someone help me!? Thank you.

sounds like your hatch just needs a little adjustment.. i guarantee if you pop the hatch, and look where the pins go, the little clamps that hold it down are stuck.

this happened to mine and i just needed new pins. but in the mean time you can put some duct tape around the current pins so the hatch will stay shut.

works best if you climb into the back area while the hatch is closed and readjust the position on the clamping mechanisms. My hatch used to pop open all the time too, until I did this.

Or the ghetto way of doing it is to just disconnect one of your hatch shocks, so in case it does pop open, the weight of it will just keep it down. Worked for me just fine for a few weeks.
