Default Camhaft lift for 944s2 and 968

Hi, can anyone please tell me the maximum lift on standard 944s2 an 968 inlet and exhaust cams?

Also does anybody know the factory valve to piston clearances for these engines?
Thanks
Adrian

Hi,
I'm planning to convert my 924S ( competition car )which has already the 2.5l with a head from the 944S. Does it work with the 2.5 8V block? Of course I should use a mapable inj. system like Omex or Megasquirt...

Cheers

Mike

Have a look at the Emerald ECU. We've had a lot of success using them and Dave Walker is a top tuner. So far its gone into a Twin turbo LS1, a Turbo'd E30 and a V8 4.2 Supercharged Jag engine in a Cobra replica!! I am switching to the Emerald when I stick a Rotrex onto my S2.

968 and S2 cams are NOT interchangeable... 968 has a vario-cam system and the cam design is completely different... The 968 cam chain tensioner is electric and controlled by the DME...

Ive heard that the 944S 16 Valve have a different exhaust cam spec and lift than the S2; I havent been able to confirm this but if its true thats what you would want to get...
