X post - rear hatch pin adjustment.
I tried to adjust the hatch latch pins, but they seem frozen. Any secrets?
And what's the funky fastner head shape on the blocks that the pins mount to? Anything I need to be aware of if attempting to remove the ***'y in order to free up the pins?
FYI, I'm trying to get rid of a rattle. Could be hatch pin adjustment or the dreaded glass seperation. I can see degradation at the glass/frame interface, but see/hear no movement when pressing on glass from inside. Doesn't change the rattle one bit.

The bolts holding the pin assemblies in place are called 12 point, cheesehead, or triple square depending on where you see it. Toolwarehouse.net, zdmak.com and others have individual sockets or sets. I just got the complete set from zdmak.com and have been pleased with it. I believe there are a total of three different sizes of these fasteners on the 944. The hatch pin assemblies, CV Joints and camshaft pulley.
