what part # would I need for an 86-86.5 N/A 944 clutch?
My buddy's 944 dropped the clutch last week and we need to get him going. I'm trying to figure out what part number was on the 86-86.5 N/A 944. He's not doing so well on cash right now and I am trying to help him get it fixed so I need a part number to go by.
Also, if anyone has a used clutch laying around I'd give you a few bucks for it to help him get going.
~TIA.
PS- Hopefully I'll find a clean 951 soon and get back into the groove around here I miss my P-car.

1. I just listed a complete clutch on e-bay with a $10 starting bid, that could be the cheapest way for you. -
2. The Sachs clutch is what you want, the new style with springs not the rubber doughnut - I found the complete clutch with all the trimmings for under $600 from a place in Southern Calif called GRIPFORCE - I think that's the best price on new by a long shot.

Not sure what all the trimmings would be, but there are sachs clutches with "extras" (rings, etc) for $380 on ebay.
Did you list a new one or used one?

Can someone please verify whether or not the 944/944s/ and 951T clutch set are all interchangeable and will fit universally on my '86.5 N/A?

Hey One,
You're sure it's the clutch plate, right? Do you have pedal action, but no grip from the clutch?
I ask because I'm replacing the second slave cylinder in a 944 N/A. The pedal will go to the floor and stay there if it's bad.
If it is the clutch plate you have one hell of a job ahead of you.
Good luck.
