944s2 tyres and alloys

i want to replace my old 16s with 17 boxster alloys.with some nice tyres any suggestion s on tyre size and make?

I think there is a different offset on the boxter rims...Try 993 or 996 rims.they both bolt right on and look great. I have both as track rims and have no problem!! good luck
