Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) interference with the stereo
I just bought the S2 Cab and the noise is making me crazy... It's really freakin' annoying and goes up in pitch with the revs. I've heard it may be due to the spark plugs (resistor/non-resistor). Any ideas? BTW, I just replaced the Bosch plugs with NGK Iridium (noise hapened before and after).

Factory stereo...or aftermarket? Does it sound like a buzzing that is directly proportional to the throttle..check your grounds for the stereo. Good luck!!

It's a 250 watt Alpine system with a porsche cd changer in the trunk. It's a whistle that is proportional to the throttle (faster speed, higher whistle) Good idea to check the grounds.

Good antenna connection, and I get where you're going but one thing sure to happen when I disconnect the alternator is that my battery will die...

If you are running an amp, then buy a ground loop isolator and connect it between the RCA connections. If you are powering your speakers off the head unit, they sell a GSI that connects inline between the power leads. Buy one at PepBoys, Autozone, etc where they keep their car stereo supplies.
