Any opinions on Big Bore Throttle Body?
Was considering this on my 1985 (Early) 944 NA with a Cold Air Intake and K&N. Will this cause any concern with stock ECU?
Thanks, Mark

I really have no idea what to expect from this part. Manufacturer reports 20% increase in air flow, but . . . . $100.00 per HP is ridiculous. I am a new Porsche owner just looking for some expert advice. Any info is sincerely appreciated.

Keep the stock airbox and put in a K&N panel filter if anything. Much better off putting in some chips, at least then you can get something like 10hp

By using a bigger throttle body, you will lose some low end torque, something that comes quite sparingly on the n/a 944; keep the stock TB, maybe clean it out if anything. If you want a bit more power, chip, filter (in stock filter box), exhaust, maybe port and polish the head and MAF. Those last two will provide the greatest gains, but at a much higher cost....
To answer the last question of yours, a bigger TB will not cause any problems with the ECU
